Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Yes yes, I got evidence of the time Circle Pit played the Hordern but the guy I was with talked through most of it and the crowd were pretty much assholes (a common theme for the night) so I won't be putting it up though. Fuck what everyone else thinks because they were great as usual.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs were pretty good. The set list order pretty much made no sense and they didn't really play the songs I wanted to hear, but I can't really fault it, I was distracted most of the time by the douchebags in the crowd, don't care what anyone else says a bad crowd can ruin a show and ruin it easily. Also $80 for an hour and twenty minutes of music.

The Flaming Lips Australian Tour
Everyone was dreading the Midnight Juggernauts, but to be honest they weren't that bad. Though you could definitely tell the new songs from the old songs by quality.
As for the Flaming Lips. It was beautiful. Best Flaming Lips show I've seen, waaaay to many moments to specficy. Awesome entrance, awesome vibe, awesome set list, great sing-a-longs, and I really cannot specify more. The visuals were beautiful and the recording came out amazing. Oh, and a marriage proposal happened on stage. For those of you who know my story from when I saw them in Phoeinx, I so could have fit into that Caterpillar suit. The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song is one of the best live songs I've heard. Could of done with more Soft Bulletin but there's really nothing to complain about.

Nine Inch Nails
Right before this show I started getting bummed out because I thought I was wasting my money having seen Nine Inch Nails so many times that I thought there was nothing new they could show me. I was wrong, completely blown away. The Fail/The Wretched intro was awesome and it was so good to hear The Line Begins to Blur being included again.
The power cut out during the intro of Burn, apparently for half of Fox Studios, and we were left in silence and without Air Con for quite some time (53 minutes according to the recording.) But lucky for you I did not include all this. All you’re missing out on is not being able to hear Trent on a megaphone, and the crowd doing their own covers of Bohemian Rhapsody. During this period the band went around handing out water and when they finally started again, claimed they would not being playing a minute less, though the venue turned the house lights on before they even left the stage preventing their encore. But when they started up the show again, absolutely no momentum was lost and they fucking rocked it as if nothing had happened.
Can’t wait to see them 3 more times.
Jaguar Love killed it as a support act, Johnny’s vocals are so amazing live. But in true KMW style they started very early and was too late for me to record. The new set up for their band is great though.
Put your headphones on and turn it up.
