Supported by Dominic Talarico.
Arrived pretty late as I was at Yo La Tengo, so I missed Dominic.
Final show for Australia's best band? They did it perfectly. This show was fucking perfect. Not a single flaw, no better way to go out than the way Ghosts of Television did. Good to hear Know Weather for once as well.

Hezbollah
New Flesh

Ghosts of Television at the Annandale Hotel
Supporting the Laurels and Love of Diagrams.
I only got time to see Ghosts of Television before I went off to go see Al Green play in the city. Worth it though, awesome awesome set, probably the best sound I've got of them.

Ghosts of Television LP Launch
Supported by Hochman & Hopkins, Knitted Abyss and Whores.
For the launch of Forsaken Empire, which if I say so myself is easily the best album I've heard this year. Sure you could download it like every blog is telling you to, but you go figure that out yourself. The easier option is buy it.
I don't know what I did but I lost everything up until Ghosts of TV, I think I figured it out so it won't happen again but you know, bummer. Also lost the first song of Ghosts of TV, but here it is, it's awesome. Yeah the vocals are pretty loud but it makes Buzzrd pretty awesome even though you can barely hear anything but vocals. Also there's a Biggie cover in there.

Gold Shoulder Friday #2
Featuring The Stabs, Witch Hats and Ghosts of Television.
More music for the launch of the new Mountain Fold Music Journal.
My first listenable recording of Ghosts of Television. They are basically one of the best bands in Sydney and this set was really awesome, sound is a bit iffy at times but you know, who cares?
Setlist (Stolen from here.)

Hezbollah

Coelacanth

I don't think I "get" Witch Hats. Was weird that they had the longest set of all but yeah, I dunno I was kinda bored, the drummer is amazing though.
Witch Hats - GoodGod Small Club, Sydney, 20/11/2009 - 62.4mb - 44 minutes
I'm pretty sure I walked in during the Stabs first song, not too sure. But yeah, this was no where near long enough but seriously, Stabs, way to make everyone in Sydney look like a bunch of amateurs. Killer set.
The Stabs - GoodGod Small Club, Sydney, 20/11/2009 - 48.4 - 34 minutes
Basically it was so hot in La Campana that all my gear started to fall apart, yes it's all held together by tape, but still, I don't know how shits gonna go in the future if this is happening.
